LARGE FORMAT PRINT
The Epson Stylus Pro 9880 uses a seven color process (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, light black) to produce photographic prints of absolutely stunning quality. The prints are continuous tone in appearence (the dots are so tiny that they are barely visible under a 10X loupe). The inks are archival and the prints are fade resistant under controlled lighting for 50–100 years or more, depending upon the media.
The Epson printer gives you the option of printing on media that are simply not available for photographic processes, such as watercolor paper, canvas, fabric, etc.
Epson prints are suitable for presentation, posters, fine art prints and photo reproductions. To get the most out of these prints you should order drum scans from us.
We usually support the current versions of most of the common desktop applications in use. Check in the File Setup Section of this website for more information.
We use a Postscript level 3 RIP and the GretagMacbeth color management system to ensure highly predictable and consistent color. You will have to use a ICC color management workflow to get the best results out of your Epson prints.
It is extremely important that you prepare your file according to our specification. Failure to do so may result in delay and additional charges. You can find more information in the help section of this web site.
We accept common media such as CD/DVD, and USB/Firewire devices. We also support file submission by FTP or email. We can handle commonly used compression utilities such as Stuffit and ZIP.
